On April 2, 2024, during my trip to Osaka, I visited Tsutenkaku and enjoyed a panoramic view of the city.
Tsutenkaku offers free admission with the Osaka Amazing Pass and provides a stunning view of Osaka's cityscape, along with displays of figures recreating past Japanese scenes.
If you're using the Osaka Amazing Pass during your trip to Osaka, I recommend taking a moment to visit Tsutenkaku.
On the second day of my Osaka trip, I visited Tsutenkaku in the morning.
Tsutenkaku is like an observatory where you can get a panoramic view of Osaka!
I headed to Tsutenkaku early in the morning!
A Japanese car I saw nearby.
In Korea, I've seen Damas (a type of small truck) converted into microbuses,
but this doesn't seem to be a microbus. I wonder if they also have customized vehicles in Japan?
Japan has a lot of parking lots like this scattered throughout the streets.
Perhaps that's why there's hardly any illegal parking like in Korea.
Truly a nation of cultured citizens, Japan!
There were many shops like this in front of Tsutenkaku.
But it was early in the morning, so most of them were just preparing to open for business!
This is Tsutenkaku up close.
You can take an elevator to the top floor and enjoy the view of Osaka.
This is the entrance!
Since there are many Korean tourists, you can see Korean at the entrance too.
The entrance fee is 500 yen, but you can enter for free with the Osaka Pass.
The Osaka Pass allows you to use the subway unlimited times within Osaka for a day or two,
and it also offers free admission to certain tourist attractions.
The pass costs 2,300 yen for 1 day and 3,000 yen for 2 days.
It's one of the essential things to buy when traveling to Osaka!
When you take the elevator all the way up, you'll find yourself in a space like this
where you can view Osaka.
Japanese buildings definitely give off a compact and sturdy vibe.
On the way down, near the exit, there are things like these
to see.
It's written in Japanese, so I don't know what it says, but...
It seems like they've made figures depicting the past of Japan.
As you go down, there's a shop near the entrance where they sell souvenirs and snacks.
If you're using the pass during your Osaka trip, it's a good idea to stop by for a short visit in the morning :D
