It feels like just yesterday when the semester started, but the first semester is already coming to an end (Time flies by...ㄷㄷ).

I am a freshman this semester, but I haven't been to school yet. Due to COVID-19, I haven't had the opportunity to visit school for online classes..ㅠ

I've brought you a quick update on my recent activities and my feelings about graduate school life.

1. Assignment Hell

There are just too many assignments ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Because in-person attendance exams are limited due to non-face-to-face learning, most midterms and final exams are conducted in the form of assignments, so there are even more.

Since I work part-time, I've been writing in my spare time after work, but I'm constantly writing and deleting because of time constraints and the pressure to do well. OMG (Unlike undergraduate days, you have to put in your own opinions and thoughts, and support them with evidence, making it even harder... Difficult freshman life..)

I have to get an A...?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. Thesis

There are two ways to graduate with a master's degree.

• Taking 24 credits + thesis graduation
• Taking 30 credits graduation

There is a way to graduate by taking 6 more credits instead of writing a thesis.

This semester, I wrote a thesis proposal as an exercise? As part of the assignment, I read various master's theses, but I feel like it only increased my burden ㅋㅋㅋ

First, choosing a topic.. How to research.....? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Most of the topics that seem like they would be okay!? are already published as theses, and hot keywords (AI, machine learning, deep learning, smart cities, etc.) already have a lot of theses published, and I'm still unsure of what to research.. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
